Comments - I was blessed with the opportunity to do a small renovation to skatepark here in the Village of Thompsonville. Phase #1 was completed in August 2020 on a small $2,000 dollar budget. After the local community got behind the project I was able to raise another couple grand. Then after a couple more city council meets I was granted the connecting tennis court. Phase #2 was finished at the end of October of 2021. Now keeping the ball rolling and still fundraising for the phase #3 build coming in 2022. Right down the street from Crystal Mountain and about 30 minutes from Traverse City!!!
Directions - From downtown Traverse City follow the "37" south past the Menards. Just before you come into the town of Buckley make a right on County Line Road. Follow that for around 10-12 miles until you reach the town of Thompsonville. After you pass the only stop light, the park is up on the right next to the playground and basketball court.
